Went outside to do some trimming after dodging a storm. Walked around the corner of the building and seen something out of the corner of my eye go around the other corner. Upon further inspection, found this little guy. Very little. Could have fit in the palm of my hand

I'm loving this pancake, especially with flash. The detail is superb... check the full-size version on Flickr and look at the detail on the tongue ;)

Crusoe, I love Day 190.
Marm O. Set, you make me want to pick up the 'cake so I can eat some too!

Anyway, went to the beach yesterday (6 mile ride, one way) to watch this with 700 other people:

Got Day 285 before the sun went down:
IMAGE: http://paololeviste.smugmug.com/Art/3Hundred6SIX/i-thsFMCK/0/L/285-Beach-L.jpg

Bike home at 10:30 on the beach way was quite scary...no street lights. Just a small LED flashing on my handlebars.

It is a sharp little lens that is light, portable and cheap. Mine focuses both consistently and accurately. If the manual focus on it were better I would rate it 10/10. The manual focus is vague and relatively unresponsive because it is the focus-by-wire system.

Been there, done that. Freeeeaaaaky. I was too scared to go above like 5 mph. But then again I was basically riding in the woods.

speaking of pancakes, my POTD is from the pancake... again...
I had to take some passport photos at work so I thought I would see what I could do in Photoshop to turn a very bland portrait into something with a little more... panache.
This is not a selfie.
