Ok, so no bird shots for today! On the sad side, I just sold my T3 and nifty 50, on the upside my 40mm pancake just showed up today as well. So hopefully I will be getting some use out of that guy.

Thanks for the history lesson abacus. You guys are both full of cool info.

I look forward everyday to see all the shots on here, "dull" ones included! Can't create masterpieces everyday! :)

This one came out really nice! We don't have many ceilings like this in the US.

dang abacus, your good! yup, granite counter tops is correct! Just saw them driving by this morning, had to try the new 40mm. I enjoyed the shapes.

I love all the green in all your shots abacus, whatever you do in Post, you seem to keep all the green consistent throughout your shots.

It helps to have a granite countertop company near where I work, in an industrial park. So I've seen them once or twice. :D

Are you referring to green as in leaves and foliage, or are my pictures coming through with a green tint of some sort?

I rather like that statue. Seems really symbolic of... something.

Today, I was involved in a film to be used in the Commonwealth Games. This was the scene (taken from the public area, not somewhere that only cast members could be).

Do you guys hear much about the Commonwealth Games? They are the "third largest multi-sport event in the world, after the Olympic Games and the Asian Games." And I'm going to be in the opening ceremony, yaay! :-)

PS I have to say, I'm quite pleased with that for a cameraphone shot!

The green I am refering to is the foliage and such. I had just noticed on your flickr that in all your shots the greens are green! I think I mess with my shots so much that the consistency in color is not as good as it should be.

I have heard of the commonwealth games, but really know nothing about them, but congratulations!

I don't prefer dead animals, but when I found this guy I was pretty excited. I go out hiking looking for antlers (the deer and elk drop them every spring). But this was the first skull I have found. I know some guys that keep all the antlers they find, but I have a lack of storage so I sell them off. This skull will probably sell for $200-300 dollars. and all those other sheds sell around $10/lb. So an elk antler you find on the ground is more like $70 bucks lying there!
