So i cheated and got another shot of these guys. They are at our work site so it is easy picking. It just seemed cool to see three of them together. The one on the right has a big ole grasshopper or something in its talons

great shots abacus! I love the pier, wouldn't mind seeing the shadows brought up a little bit...

fire fighter memorial also nice. Bird shots drive me nuts. always wish I was about 40 feet taller:)

Lovely shots from Anchorage - would love to visit some time!

I've been rather busy recently. My time has been filled with Commonwealth Games rehearsals and performance. Sadly didn't get any decent ones from the show - I was locked away backstage - but this is one my mum took of the dress rehearsal.

those birds are kestrels, little mini raptors! They are only about 8"-10" long/tall to put the bug in perspective...

Went out and shot the bows at a buddys house this evening

Great Blue Heron. I got this shot from across a river. When I get home and am looking at the shot, now I wonder if he wasn't trapped in the fallen tree branches. Now I feel like crap that I just walked away.
