Oh, that's a beauty! I really should do this - I have friends who run dance schools, and they have loads of senior kids who would love to have this kind of photo taken. Need to organise myself!

Yes, you should.

This was not someone I knew. I was on the pier waiting for a good sunset shot, where didn't really appear as I would have liked. This girl was dancing nearby. I approached her (didn't want to be a creeper) and asked if I could take some shots, and she shyly agreed.

Brave to ask a stranger to take their picture - not sure I would be willing to do that!

Here's mine from today, a reminder that if I want to take photographs at rehearsal I really should take some memory cards with me!

Its not always easy, but If you can step outside your comfort zone you can get some amazing pictures sometimes. It helps to avoid a pervert label of you have your wife standing beside you when you ask. :)

Oh yes, never can have too many memory cards.

This monument marks the spot where William Wallace is believed to have watched his final defeat (and the death of thousands of his followers) at the Battle of Falkirk in 1298

Really great shots guys,

sunsets can either be easy or very difficult when you are trying to capture something in particular. Lovely dancer!

The scarecrow is hilarious!

That's a great set vagabond. I especially like the wall with the shadow of the weed. The one high up looking down a ravine (?) towards the valley below and the mountain is really nice too.

Alan Potter, I like the monument.

its funny how things work out sometimes. I went out to take some shots of something else for my POD, finished shooting and got back in my truck. I looked out my window, rolled it down, and shot that weed. Definitely not what I set out to take pictures of, but it definitely caught my eye.
