For myself I like both chrysanth photos - the contrast of the black background or the softness of the white one. Also impressed by the bug and planthopper pictures!

I shot for a friend's dance school last night. ISO 5000, f/4, 1/160s - this was one of the brighter moments!

Not a Step
One of the dogs nudges me awake and I find I've fallen asleep while watching a movie (again). It's after midnight and I've farted around and not taken a photo (once again). So I've decided that when this happens, I will take a photo of the first thing that catches my eye (in this instance a ladder lit by the not-too-bright porch light) and make do with it.
