This is a replica of a Roman-era stone found nearby - at the eastern end of the Antonine Wall, which marked the northern boundary of the Roman empire for many years (before the Romans retreated)

I went for a wander by the Kelpies today, the weather was beautiful (well, for Scotland anyway)
