Lovely! And Happy Birthday!

I've been a bit square of late. Linlithgow Palace's flying buttresses:

Sometimes a classic square crop is the only way to go!
I like the lines in those pics!

What joy in that picture - lovely!

A Classic Car rally in the nearby town of Linlithgow. I didn't have a lot of time to spare this time, next year I'll give myself plenty more time!

It may be last minute, but it's lovely - the rich warmth of the colours is beautiful.

This is my first photo from a school I will choose to think of as "Scottish Abstract".

I had my doubts when my daughter wanted to use that color (oxblood) to paint our livingroom walls, but I must say that i love the result. It adds depth and warmth to the room.

Your "Scottish Abstract" composition is spot on. I like the pattern of raindrops against the reflection in the water. Well spotted!

It's hard to see these two sweeties head back to Nacogdoches, TX.
(Lens used: Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8...I'm starting to like this lens!)

I think you have all the colors possible in this shot. Nicely done.

-Butterfly in the Garden-
This colorful visitor to our garden led me on a merry chase! I took around 200 photos, working to capture a few shots that were in focus and well framed.
