-Junk Drawer-
Argh! I fell asleep watching TV (again), only to awake at nearly 1am without a photo for the day.
My arbitrary rules say I have to take a penalty picture (only one frame allowed) of a mundane setting and try to make it look somewhat presentable.
So here is a portion of my kitchen junk drawer.

Hmm, you're now making me feel I need to go and sort out the cantilever fiasco that is my toolbox. Oh well, too late now.

I went out for a run this morning, and after it I wandered round the park. A separate group of runners came over the brow of the hill as I was composing my shot, so I made sure I got them in it too!

-Yet Another Rose Photo-
After a three hour drive home, and working my shift at the city library, I had just enough energy to shoot a couple frames of one of our roses before sunset.

Thank goodness I'm not going to have to explain it! It isn't something that can be desperately easily explained to folk who haven't seen it!

Love the Christening picture and rose is beautiful too

Michael,

There are times that I feel your shot represents the actual size of these beasts located in TX. Was this a crop or how did you get that close with that lens?

Gart

Hahaha! I prefer keeping my distance. I was at the closest focus limit (about 3 feet away) at 250mm and was very aggressive with cropping!

Yowch! Fantastic photo!

I photographed a local musical theatre group yesterday (http://www.scene-2.co.uk) (external link), this is a moment from one of the numbers. I suspect that a surprisingly high proportion of musical theatre geeks would be able to name the song from just this one photo:
