Lovely silhouette

I was out for lunch today and ended up being interviewed for TV - the reporter (BBC Scotland Political Editor) was wondering whether I believed that Scotland had changed since the referendum

-Dancing Water-
Continuing yesterday's theme, I took a drive to shoot the fountain in Galatyn Park Plaza.
"The centerpiece of this unique downtown attraction is its vanishing pool fountain, which features pulsating elliptically-arranged water eruptions that can reach up to 60 feet in height. The water feature is located centrally near the Eisemann Center and Galatyn Park DART Rail Station."

-Exakta Varex IIa-
I found this little treasure at a shop for $15.
Exakta made the first 35mm SLR. This one is from 1956 and seems to be completely functional with a very nice lens. One weird thing about Exakta...the controls and shutter button are on the left side. (Just a bit of vindication for you left-handers out there). I'll get it cleaned up a bit more and actually shoot some film (gasp!) to try it out.

I broke out the extension tubes and flash for this one.
It's actually hanging in a corner of a white window frame.
The flash washed out the web it was clinging to.
