Tim, you're making me nostalgic for the time I lived just off the River Lea while my wife was going to school in London. I spent many hours down by the water.

Randy, your workbench is so clean! I can't seem to find mine. It seems to be buried under 2 feet of "stuff."

Most colorful gun I've seen for a long time, Jay!

Contentment:
I love watching "bird TV" in the mornings and afternoons with a cup of coffee and camera close at hand. This little downy woodpecker and his mate are frequent visitors.
(Stacked Tamron 1.4X & Canon 1.4X converters with 300 f/4L IS for a total of 600mm)

A few nice river spots locally, I really need to explore them more

January is not even over, and I'm already struggling -?
I think I need to get away from my landscapes mood
Im becoming a 'one trick pony'

Ha! Welcome to the club! My default is either birds (back yard feeders) or flowers (mostly the roses in the front garden).
It sometimes takes a tremendous effort for me to break out of my comfort zone. I guess that's what I'm attempting this year with this whole theme business tacked on to my 365 challenge. If I truly wanted to step out of the comfort zone, I'd take more people photos and portraits.

I avoid portraits like the plague, definitely not my forte
People are just too weird :p

I used to do loads of macro, still life and abstract type stuff but its almost all landscapes now
I need to get my creative head back on

I am worried about running out of inspiration as well. People are not easy for me to shoot either.

Sorry I've been away for a while - busy, but I've kept shooting. Some lovely photos in here. I too am not great at people pictures; the only thing worse is selfies. I can't look that grumpy, can I?

Anyway, Tuesday: Empty bus station

Jan 20th
Today's theme was supposed to be "Something Big" but a stomach bug kept me at home.
I did manage to get out in the back yard long enough to take a snap of this bright fellow, however.

Lesser Scaup. Interesting comments and shots, I prefer birds or landscape but am trying still life.
