Okay, here's 365/16. Notice I skipped over 365/15. 365/16 is the reason why. The Wife and I went to see Aerosmith in Austin last night. To my surprise, the staff allowed me to carry in my 7D and FD 500mm f/8 reflex lens. The lens is slow as hell, but it's small, light and has got long reach. I cranked up the ISO and went to town. Got some good shots of Cheap Trick, the opening act, and some great shots of Aerosmith even though our seats were in the second deck. Then, right as Aerosmith is wrapping up the final song of their set, the card in the image below--which was in my camera at the time and contained more than 400 images--curled up and died on me.

Fortunately, The Wife is a true professional. She always has spare CF cards on her. She pulled out an 8 gb card and I managed to get some good shots during the encore, despite my frazzled state. I'm very much not happy about losing all those other shots, but at the same time am on the fence about whether it's worth it to send the defunct card off to see if anything can be salvaged.
