12-24 Tonkina Soft??

Ok what is wrong with this lens. I have had this lens for years and there is just something about it that looks soft to me. The image just doesn't look right. This of course is with no PP. Manual or auto focus. Both turn out the same.

Hard to tell without the full size image. Do you shoot RAW or JPG? Do your other lenses look sharper?

The other lenses do look sharper it's this particular lens that always gives me a strange soft photo. It just looks all around bad.

Not sure why the lens appears soft. In the photo you posted, as Paul said it's difficult to make any conclusions as it's not that large.

At this resolution, nevertheless, nothing appears particularly soft in my eyes.

Yeah that seems pretty soft, hard to tell with how light the sky is and that bridge.

What fstop, shutter speed were you using?
