Hi all,
First, a quick report here to announce the successful fledging of Missy's 17th nesting [2012-3]. All 5 nestlings were good strong first-flyers, going straight from the nestbox to the tall trees in rapid succession. This was the quickest fledging ever here, lasting just 45 minutes.
Here's a short video showing the last 3 making their first leaps into the wide world:

This latest crew will be in the tree-tops for about 10 days, so we probably won't get many decent shots of them until their homecoming. But we'd like to share some recent shots of their older siblings from the first 2 nestings here. You may notice the varying stages of their gradual shedding of their baby plumage.
Missy is now the mother of 77 baby Blues over the course of 6 nesting seasons.
Take a bow Missy:
We hope you enjoy these,
Kenn
