Product-type shot

My first attempt at a sort of product shot, for no other real reason than a sort of photographic exhibition of my new favorite toy , but I just would like to know how I could improve or any other comments.

I think it's great!

The only thing that I can think of is that in the smaller photo, it might have been nice to not have the flash head pointed at the camera. Mabye have it not rotated at all so it would face away and at an angle

to me it's awfully dark to see what you're advertising in the shot. nice setup, though.

Try to set up a defused light behind and above at a 45 degree angle downwards to shine light on the background. Should also be out of cameras view. This will seperate the background. Then you could place other defused lights or reflector cards around to light other key areas. This will give nice highlights.

Thank you all for your responses, and boomer, I may be getting a better set of lights soon, so I may be able to do that- excellent shot by the way.

ghaleon- I realized that the head should have been in-line witht the rest of the flash when I was putting the image togeather, but as it was wrapped and under the tree, it was too late.
