I thought 12800 came out pretty well, hardly applied much noise reduction, that pic was when we first walked into the park so it was still very dark..

Well there was autumn colours in that last one, and if you waited a minute, then you would have had some more

Most of mine where taken at 3200 on a 7D, as I forgot to change it .

Handful of mine from Sunday morning.

Really good to have a catchup with the guys and I think we all agreed it would be good to get another meet arranged soon.

Oh, and my ISO is feeling rather inadequate now boys. Stop showing off

Stuart welcome, I would say watch this thread, sometimes the meets are adhoc, like the visit to Knole Park on Sunday. It only started to happen on Friday, then 5 people turned up on Sunday morning at 6.45.

I like the first one Paul, and I did not think the sunrise was going to be that good.

Hi Stu...welcome and Andy said for the more organised meets they go in the first page but there are quite a few last minute meets which just get posted in the body of the main thread.

Don't be worried about posting pictures, my photos really improved after finding POTN and this little corner of it.

I was tracking a buzzard Sunday evening on my dog walk. We are blessed to have several nesting pairs locally and see them on a regular basis.

Now I'm new (ish) to birding and am really only interested in birds of pray and so far, I've taken hundreds of shots and disregarded the lot. This shot was taken for the hell of it and despite loads of pp, I ended up resetting the whole shot back to what the camera took and just sharpened it a little.

Lens was my 70-200 OS Sigma at 200mm, f22. 7D set to Av giving 1/320sec, ISO400.

The Buzzard had had enough and headed for the nest.

I like the last two Mike, very nice. The muted colour one has the edge for me.

I am 26 and my name is Stuart. My girlfriend is the real photographer and is just setting out as self employed doing wedding photography (its been a very slow start but we are getting there).

I love to shoot Motorsport and as I live under an hour from Brands, its a good thing to! However, I'd love to expand to cover all aspects of photography. The photography I see on here is just fantastic and would love to be of a standard to post here more regularly.

My sig says I'm from Tunbridge Wells however that's slightly changed now, and I reside in a village called Hildenborough, which is also about to change...! I hope to exchange contracts on a house in Staplehurst tomorrow!
