The London thread Adrian posted a link to is great, I'm on the ipad so can't view exif data.. These pics make me want a walk around lens more ad more! The bank account puts me right back in my place though :(

I look forward to the next meeting where I can hopefully make it! Would probably hold off from a London meet and wait until a local one.

Hi Stuart, fellow newbie here.

If you're up for a cheep walkabout that'll get you going, I've got a Sigma EX 28-70 f2.8 about to go on ebay. It's good to go and sharp as on my 7D. I was looking at £200 BIN on eBay but make me a sensible offer that'll save me the fee's and the time to list it and it's your's.

This was taken with it when the Tour of Britain cycle race came past the house.

Hello!

I hope everyone's hunk dory?

Great, Great Scotland shots Mike - I really love those dreamy reflections, the damp really adds to it too

still somewhat super busy at the moment - had a quick trip to Brighton on Saturday (entertaining family for the weekend) then a nice trip to Nymans on Sunday - so a few pics taken but still not enough for my liking! :D

oh, hello new folks! hang onto your wallets - this all gets very expensive ;)

I picked up a set of these recently that I've had a lot of fun using. Lovely and portable, and highly recommended. Not that I'm an expert though, but perhaps that's part of their charm. Turn on and go.

Still after this kit myself, portability is what really works for me at the moment, especially with a lot of on location work in the middle of nowhere, and those ranger kits are outstanding albeit pricey. Also need a new ips screen and I've been tempted by the new iMac. Never thought I would see the day too be honest!!
