Still after this kit myself, portability is what really works for me at the moment, especially with a lot of on location work in the middle of nowhere, and those ranger kits are outstanding albeit pricey. Also need a new ips screen and I've been tempted by the new iMac. Never thought I would see the day too be honest!!

Once you go mac you never go back ;)

Handful of mine from Sunday morning.

Really good to have a catchup with the guys and I think we all agreed it would be good to get another meet arranged soon.

Oh, and my ISO is feeling rather inadequate now boys. Stop showing off ;)

Yeah they are pulling me in I have to say. I just dont feel the need for a tower PC anymore. I love the idea of a slimline Mac with a stunning screen. Do you rekon 27" a bit overkill? I use a 23" screen now and it feels spot on, so was thinking the 21.5" would be ok. All I do really is Photography, Video Editing and Web Development on the PC. Never play games on here anymore. The Xbox and PS3 have taken over for that. Damm technology, always sucks me in.

If you can afford 27 then do it. I've got a 24 currently and really want more screen real estate. I'm thinking 21.5 might be too small. Perhaps go into an Apple Store and try them out.

Lovely water shots Mike - really mysterious quality to them. Have you put them on 500px yet? Definitely worth a favourite.

Has anyone got or used a lensbaby? Interested in trying one for a video project but dont wnat to dum my cash on one if they are no good. Example videos online have me still on the fence as to whether they will work for what i want.

I am getting rid of one of my Billingham bags as I need something that will hold the 300mm mounted to the body.

So I have a 307 in absolutely mint condition same as this http://www.wexphotographic.com …olate-camera-bag/p1030840 (external link)

With regard to what it holds well, well all this lot, the larger of the lenses is slightly bigger than a 70-200 f2.8 the next biggest is equivalent to the size of a 24-70 f2.8

Thanks Linda, this is Loch Katrine from Stronachlachar (external link), a very pretty corner of the loch.

So were you based around the Loch Lomond area then?

I can see from your fabulous pics that you had a great time. If you visit Scotland again, base yourself up near the mainland side of Skye and take trips out from there - it is out of this world up there.

I cant wait to get up there again but not sure when that will be though. We have done 3 areas, first one based at Oban, then at Inverness, then last one was based just down from Kyle of Lochalsh - this was the best ever holiday, the scenery for miles around was stunning.

More stunning shots. I cant say that I have seen a Highland cattle that colour yet (they do scare me a bit lol).

Hope Stanley was ok while you were away - bet he was glad to have you back :D

Linda

Evening all.....Day stood outside Downing street getting wet but the students seemed to have behaved themselves or at least in the area I was in

It took 2 days to get permission for access to the roof where this was taken and another few hours of emails and phone calls to get the camera allowed up there. Taken with my old 40D and a Sigma 28-200 from the roof of a government building that shall remain nameless....

Nice to be able to get a picture from that angle and well worth the effort

Either that or use two screens which is definitely the way forward.

Well done and love the images

Spending a day getting wet sounds familiar but you know what they say if you can't take a joke you shouldn't of joined.

Thanks Adrian though I can't take any credit for the cones they were their idea.
