No problem Stu. Good luck with the new house.

Whats on at Brands?

Last organised race if the year I believe... It's the Britcar. It runs in to the night time which I haven't had a go at photographing before... So is something different to have a go at.

Depending on how stuck in to the house I get on Saturday I should be able to make it.

Car has now conked out so need to also fit car shopping and Xmas around all of this!

I'm not as think as you confused I am..

Mark I've never even seen you post anything that's not top notch if I could get my stuff half as good as yours I'd be happy you've got a real talent that most of us haven't got take the praise you deserve it.

the amount of people here at work that bring me those little proof photos for me to scan and run copies off so they dont have to pay which I refuse to do but the spotty teenagers in the design dept do it for them anyway, I use Zenfolio for my website and its all built in so they can view online and order whatever via photobox and they do all the donkey work, I just get the profit which I think must be a safer bet as they have trouble saving them..

Gimps!! lol

I use Photobox Gallery for my portrait sessions but for school work the amount of time it would take to make up and password every album with the relevent images in and then make up proof cards would be horrendous!!

cheers Dom, but I have to say that I think we are all are as good as each other really, the shots you have taken this year have been excellent and I have see a great improvement in your work, I think it maybe it time you moved to a 5D, the ISO performance alone will help your style of shooting no end...

Thanks Mark, I keep thinking about it but I'm going to spend my money on glass for the time being as I can use that with whatever body I use and improve the IQ with what I've got. But who knows what will happen when/if the price of 5D2s come down on the secondhand market plus I'd like to get some better speedlites and maybe some pocket wizards as at present I have to set up my flashes manually and I'd have liked second curtain sync the other day when shooting Jay the drummer.

I had someone asking about a TF shoot for their portfolio and then said they wanted some shoots of their kids as well in the same shoot which to me sounds like they wanted family portraits done for nothing which annoys me as I don't mind doing a TF shoot for someone but wanting a free shoot of their kids is another matter.

I will get myself another 5Dmk3 soon once I have found some cash from somewhere and im about to get rid of my PW's and 580 EX2's as I have bought a 600EX RT which is so much better than my 580's even though they are an excellent flash, just need another one, they work so much better with my 5Dmk3.

I think the problem is that people dont think about the cost of the gear you have bought to do their shoot with so expect it for free

Some people think because it's digital it's free as there is is no film and developing to pay for the curse of the digital age..

On the whole subject of ^^^^^^^^ Brands Hatch, my cousin is head of the accounts dept for the Palmer group that own Brands and other race curcuits.

I might have to have a word and see if I can get free some press passes for some of the lower level events for next year ( I'm thinking BSB, WSBK and the likes of Touring Car etc: are going to be out of the question). Anyone interested other than us 2 newbs?????
