Sam, how much room do you have on your desk? We have 27" monitors on our creative desks at work and i dont like them, i prefer our 24 inch screens, purely because i feel i cant see the entire screen without having to turn my head to look around it. I find this tiring when working with them for long periods of time. If you have enough room to move a good few feet back, then perhaps they would be fine.

Not a massive amount of deskspace, but i did pop into Apple to have a look and they looked huge. In person it is quite a jump from the 21.5" to the 27" really, An inbetween as you say 24" would be perfect I think. The higher resolution would be useful for photos and graphic work, but aaahh its so difficult. Both beautiful screens though.

Sam, U2711 DELL.. Kin love mine!!

Powerhouse, I did look at that screen which is lovely but Im leaning towards a more compact system as I want to get rid of the pc tower. I have a 4 bay 3.5" storage tower which is hidden away. Decisions decisions!!!

Lovely weather we're having, isn't it?

it's just abysmal, and I'm so fed up with having 6 wet muddy dogs, wet towels, wellies, coats etc etc etc.

nice car shot Andy.

Nice shots Andy. Looks as wet as it was here today.

I know its not everyones cup of tea, but i have Brand New Manfrotto 718B Tripod for sale. Its been opened and read the manual, but never been used. I have a 190XB pro so dont need it. They are £80 odd, so £35 to anyone who might want it. I was going to keep it for the G10 as it is a midi one. But im not really going to need it.

I'll take that if you can wait until next weekend for payment. Assuming that's ok, how do you want to do this? Depending where you are I can collect and splash the cash in person. If you're too far away, can you get me a price for postage please.

I've also got a tripod for sale if anyone here is interested. A Gitzo GK1880CQR like this one.

http://compare.ebay.co.uk …ar=sbar&adtype=pla&crdt=0 (external link)

Brand new with tags but missing the box and carry-case. I bought it as an ex-display model from Vitec (who are one of my clients), but found it too short for me, even fully extended.

I tried it once at home and just new it was going to give me backache.

£300 posted or you can collect from "the smallest village in England" if you like.

Lovely shot that. Great colour.

Re: the tripod. You can collect from New Romney or I can post. I will only charge you the actual cost of postage and refund any extra. I guess it will be about £10-12 recorded and you can PayPal me if you like.
