A quick driveby photo posting from me. First time i have been able to muster the will to edit any of my work in a long time.

Have 500px stopped showing a slightly larger image in the lightbox these days? I uploaded full res but the lightbox shows the same size? Sure it used to show a size larger?

Completely lost my mojo if im honest.

Just one of those phases. Sadly started before i went away on holiday to Thailand & Australia, so even whilst there in those amazing places i was really "bleh" about using my camera.

A real shame, but what can you do. Hopefully will pass soon.

I know how that feels I had it for a bit last year but recently I've got it back it's helped that I've had lots of people wanting me to shoot them and being recommended to people. Also when I've met people for a shoot they say how much they want to work with me as they like what I do, I've just had Kristina who I shot on saturday asking to do another shoot so I must of done something right, it's encouraging but I am thinking how can I keep what I do fresh but with spring and summer coming and hopefully better weather getting out on location will become an option. I expect your mojo will return you just need the right catalyst.

I'm lucky in my job (look away now Penel) in that I get access to some very high roofs in London. Sometimes, I get time and chance to grab the camera and take a few shots.

A couple from Wednesday this week. Victoria Street looking East and North. Snow approaching fast.

I've been fiddling around with layers and textures. Our friend in Norfolk who owns and manages several holiday cottages has agreed I can put some of my work up in the cottages, so I've been going through my images that are more generic and adding textures to make them a bit vintage shabby chic etc. I do think it's a bit twee and nonsense but if they sell, they sell. Trying to put my commercial head on! So we'll see. Anyway here's a few.

That's a great effect Penel & lovely selection of images too! :D

Yesterday was Legoland's first day open for the new season so we went while the older two were at school.. It was empty so had a great time! :D

I'm out to night working with Mark (Bouncingring I think his name was on here) shooting his photobooth at a wedding in Chessington!

This morning is catch up on emails while the kids run off some energy at a soft play!

+1 Dom. Thats a great shot.

Penel, theres no need to worry. Almost all of them have waste high barriers and those that don't, are restricted in access or you are tethered with a harness so you can't fall.

The one in Victoria is only 10 floors up, some are a bit higher than that. Great views from some.

What an absolutely blinding portrait, one question - were you not tempted to nudge the black slider up a little more to lose all the jumper etc (if you know what I mean?)

.DAVID.

Thanks Guys, Andy I did mean to comment on your shots yesterday I do like them always good to see a different view point.
David I did push the black on another one from that shoot but it just looked wrong with a disembodied head.

For some unknown reason I have two View Bug profiles but this also won an " Awesome Award " today on the other one I'll post the link and if you want to look do as it's contains nudity CLICK HERE (external link)

A quick one from today's shoot I seem to be thinking a lot in B+W at the moment this was shot with one softbox 3/4 on to the left about one and a half meters away the spedlite set to 1/2 power.
