Fingers crossed it leads to something and helps you with your mojo.

Had a fun day cycling in on a new bicycle ( secondhand ) with clip in shoes and managed two comical moments when I stopped and could not get me feet out of the pedals and just fell over. Second time I was on the ground with my feet in the pedals.....had to laugh at myself:rolleyes::rolleyes: Fortunately bike and rider okay

Dont worry it wont be the last time ;)

Funny! That is something I have not managed to do yet (not unclip in time) although I have seen it happen, it is quite comical!

And you need to get on Strava (external link)!

Hey guys, have any of you ever been contacted or done business with the media agency www.hotspotmedia.co.uk (external link) ??

I Was contacted by them today and they want to write an article about my WW2 images and the story behind them to try and sell to the mainstream newspapers. Obviously im really excited about that prospect but wanted to know if anyone had dealt with them and knew if they were reliable, quick to pay etc?

Guess im more looking at Rich, Ian, Mark, etc with this question but if anyone has any info would be grateful.

just go for it fella, you never know this time next year you could be a millionaire

Managed to get a copy at long last! Must have tried about 10 or 12 different news agents/WH Smiths type places. Went into a tiny little corner shop today to get some chewing gum and low and behold....There were several copies on the shelf.

Great article Mark. Congrats mate (much doffing of cap and all that!).

What bike did you buy Adrian? Road or a proper bike (MTB)? Cleats can take some getting used to and getting the tension right can be a pig. So used to mine now I'd never go back to flat pedals.

After Mark commented on the yellowness of the Nuthatch shot and Penel pointing out that the bird had lost a lot of it's colour in my feeble attempt at PP, I was kind of p****d off because I only have my laptop to work on. The PC we have is a great machine but having had the screen fail last year, we were using an old 15" screen from our original "Tiny" PC.

Last night, my good lady wife came home from work with 2 19" Dell monitors her company had been given late last year as warranty replacements and had never used. They asked her to cover the shipping costs (£30) and thats all.

The difference in colour and clarity is outstanding over everything else we have in the house.

Can't wait to have a go at revisiting some of my recent shots and seeing if they make any difference to the way I PP stuff.

Not a bad deal for £15 each!!

Thought I'd pop a few shots up here from my holiday last week ... gave me lots of chances to take stills and video including trying out the new EOS-M camera which I got just before I left ...

Using my new EOS-M ...

I took video footage on the EOS-M too (with the image stabilised 18-55mm lens), which was an absolute pleasure to ski with (in comparison to the 5DMKII which is pretty heavy to carry around ...)

Couple of clips for the skiers / boarders amongst you ...

Thanks for posting them Clare, the IQ of that camera looks great.

I am sorely tempted to get one, although the poor macro made me stop and pause (and now the money has just been merged into the household)

Looks though you did well always tricky with snow and the exposure let alone a new camera.

Really like the video footage, you did a great job of skiing and videoing which is never easy

It is a road bike a secondhand specialized allez sport. I have played with the tension so hopefully I have got it right now. In the summer I got a hybrid which in essence is a mtb frame with road tyres which i will convert back into a proper mtb. The mtb pedals I never had a problem with. Never really done any offroad stuff but being more rural now I should make the most of it

So you got one Clare, I have not really tried the video yet on mine, maybe something for a cycle road race. But I like it.
Rich, its a great little camera, a lot easier to carry around.

Adrian, so you got sorted then, now you have to get out on it.
