A strong image for sure but for me she is too central in the frame, her legs because of the black BG behind them almost completely disappear & not entirely sure about the crucifix hanging a tad too low and being obscured by the green rail.

Having said that it does IMO improve by cropping the top to the line of the conduit and getting rid of the pink/yellow part of that grafitti, the "framing" improves and the eye is kept on her and the red in the rhs graffiti balances her red hair much better.............doe​s that help

Well, I've put on my out-of-office at work and turned off the alarm clock. Off for a 2,000mile road trip to the west coast of Scotland. Me and my girl, and a dog in the boot. Going to be a great trip (weather permitting).

HOpe you're all having a good weekend - we're in Norfolk and it's freezing! left Surrey with warm sunny weather and arrived here to grey dismal drizzly and cold - can't even face going out to see the barn owls this morning - please keep fingers crossed for better weather later in the week!
Hope the wedding went well Lee. Dom it's an interesting shot can we see more from the same? the horizontal bar bothers me in that it's not horizontal, perhaps you should've shot from directly in front - or more of an angle?

Thinking about hiring a lens for the BOP day but the question is which one? Torn between a 300mm f2.8 and the 400 f2.8

As some of you have these in your kit bags, advice would be useful. Is the 400 going to be too long? The website says a short lens and something like a 70-200, both of which i have so is it worth the cost/effort to even bother?

get the 300mm more flex. I shot one on my old 400mm and its too much. Maybe get a 300mm and a 1.4x then you have the best of both worlds.

Any of you interested in a holiday to Rome at the end of July?

Ive got a long weekend for two paid for, but im not seeing the girl I was taking anymore.

Dates are Thurs 25th - Monday 29th

-4 Nights in a really nice 4 Star hotel near the Vatican. Double room ( but can be changed to twin room if needed), Includes Bed & Breakfast.
Very close to the metro as well for getting around (I put a lot of research into hotels).

-Return EasyJet Flights from Gatwick, including baggage.

To book the holiday now would cost over £780, Im Selling for £550 and I will pay for all name changes on tickets too.

Nice shot Radders, I missed out on the Red Arrows yesterday the Folkestone Airshow was meant to be yesterday but when it was cancelled the Reds were already paid for which I didn't know so the displayed when my shoot was booked sods law that.
