Very suprised the mirror doesnt smack into the lens, but even so, being able to get 14mm with minimal vignetting is very impressive.

Yes thats correct, I've had mine a couple of years and it was second hand.
Its not the best wide zoom, but for how much I need one its OK.

I have checked the rear of the lens an it does not protude.

Very quick edit, I have taken a shocking 4766 photos today at Fairford! God knows when I will get through them.

Got to thank Ian again for making it possible too Very fond now though of the 150-500mm Sigma!

Some great shots here guys. Loving the Mig. It's starting to look like a deck of Top Trumps .
