@ Andy ~ nice mix of fast metal on the track though some more wheel blur would be nice to see ;)

@ Richard ~ always nice to see the old warbirds, nice prop blur :)

@ Dom ~ I know what you mean about static cars at shows/exhibitions, once you have all the record shots then the challenge to get creative which typically fails me but not you especially based on the Sunbeam and the E Type of which a nice 60's aged feel about it :D

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Hi Victor, nice to see you posting again :) I do really like the bird on the wire...............scratches head as to the ID, one of the Warblers maybe??? Great colours and warm light :D

Is the primate a Macaque? Makes me think of the famous series of pictures of such a red faced primate in the hot springs with snow around from Japan? Found one image on Wiki here http://en.wikipedia.org …g_in_Nagano_Japan_001.jpg (external link)

@ Andy ~ oooooooooh what happened, one minute enjoying the panning & 3/4 high speed approaches and now "content protected by owner"!!!

@ Victor ~ looks like you had great weather. If you can ID the bird that is always nice to know? The little Owl and the Egret are well caught especially the Little Owl.............looks like he spotted you at the time of the capture ;) Oh, where were the macaques seen at a zoo I surmise???

British Power Boat Championships returns to Folkestone (external link)

For a second year Folkestone will be hosting the British Powerboat championships on 1st and 2nd September 2012.

From what I remember of the Powerboat championship, when it was at Ramsgate, a rather long lens will be required.

Thanks for the comments on the todays shots chap.

I had a gander at it last time when at Folkestone and it's off shore very off shore.

Indeed. When the Powerboat Grand Prix was at Ramsgate, a few years ago now, I was struggling with a Sigma 170 - 500mm lens.

Oooh, the wife wants to go birding in Portugal next year, if that's how close you get to Little Owls then she'll probably start packing now! :D

Again corking shots Richard well done.

A few from my trip down to the Old Timer's Rally at the Grand in Folkestone today as it's the same cars every year it's hard to do something different but I've tried.
