If you haven't used a lens in a couple of years, it's time to think about selling it, isn't it?

I'm thinking of selling my 100-400. I love it to bits and have an emotional bond to it but think it might need a new home.

depends, if you need to sell it then I guess it makes sense...

However I rarely use my 24-105 (mostly for wedding pics) and have considered selling it, but everytime I do I am reminded how great it is, therefore I figure it deserves it's place in the bag

Maybe you need to take some pics with it and remind yourself why you love it?

I've sold a couple of lenses in the past and the only one I regret selling was the one I sold due to needing the money vs. just not using it anymore.

If you never use it anymore, I don't think you'll miss it.

Plenty to see there, depends where you go though..........the main estuary's round Lisbon seem to be the places though, yes even for owls

Both lenses are boxed up and sitting in a cupboard, and have been for as long as I can remember. I think I might fund a 24-70 with the proceeds. Anyone want first dibs? Anyone also have a clue on used pricing these days?

having to sell due to needs rather than lack of use is always going to have that effect I fear

I don't have a clue on used prices, I think the camera shops charge a fair price, but give terrible trade in money - might be worth checking the going rate on Park Cameras or Mifsuds perhaps?

One of my family's prize bulls..........going at a fair rate for 650Kg!!

I think I'll sell here on POTN, you always get a fair price and it's a trustworthy place to do business, if you do it right.
