I think I'll sell here on POTN, you always get a fair price and it's a trustworthy place to do business, if you do it right.

Saw one go for £760 that was a couple of years old in May on TP

Mornings, some great photos over the weekend. I spent most of mine doing DIY on the house so we can rent it come October - absolutely cream crackered today and everything still tastes of plaster!
Also spotted this on 500px today. Epic wedding photo is epic :)

Nice, thanks. I'll scout eBay for some prices as well as POTN here too.

Both lenses are boxed up and sitting in a cupboard, and have been for as long as I can remember. I think I might fund a 24-70 with the proceeds. Anyone want first dibs? Anyone also have a clue on used pricing these days?

Check on eBay maybe?

felt_tip_felon wrote in post #14916579 (external link)
having to sell due to needs rather than lack of use is always going to have that effect I fear :(

To be honest I hadn't used it much prior to selling and thought I wouldn't mind. There's been a few occasions where it's been missed though.

wow. I'd be too scared to try that near all that thin, veil type material (of which I'm sure there's a word for).

Some nice additions, the guy leaning aain the car really adds to it, nicely seen

I will have to admit to not seeing him when I was framing the shot as I was concentrating on getting the curves of the bonnet and headlight right it was all pure luck.

Matt I hope it's not the head gasket as it will not be cheep to get fixed.

Nasty, was it just smoke or did the engine stop by itself ...... could be timing belt

Haha.. On closer inspection it would seem that the turbo has blown and sucked all the oil from the engine and burnt it off creating the mass of white smoke!

Will get it up on stands tomorrow and make a start on stripping it down!
