Cracking shots from both Penel and Richard hats off to both of you.

Penel I always get parts quicker from Japan than I do from Europe never been able to work that out.

that last shot is especially good Penel - you're not swapping dogs for horses permanently I hope?

nope, just doing something different for a while. Horses on the beach at dawn in Norfolk soon, fingers crossed....

Cool - I like it! a change is always good, but you'll never get half a dozen horses in your front room! ;)

Afternoon all from a sunny Elveden. Quick question. Has anyone used a Kodak underwater disposable? I'm thinking of getting one tomorrow but did t want 27 throw away pics. In hindsight I could have rented an enclosure for the g10. Never Mind. I hope everyone is well.

I used one for my honey moon many many years ago now. Adequate for usual snorkling and shallow diving - wouldn't take it proper diving though. I also found the colour cast slightly on the magenta side but for a $8 camera, it did the job. Not a brilliant shot but an example shot is below

Was given a £265 discount offer from Amazon ........ so it was errrrrrrrrrrrrrr ............. no don't need it ............... errrrrrrrrrrrrr may be I do errrrrrrrrrrrrr ............ no don't need it ............ errrrrrrrrr etc etc finally buy buy buy :p

I have cs4 and would like a newer version especially for the content aware as i mainly use it for cloning but is not cheap for that. I have a student version so i cannot go for the upgrade option.

D'oh, should have borrowed my underwater housing for the G10 - it's a great bit of kit! Maybe next time :)

Argh dang. I should have thought about it sooner. Thanks for the offer.

Matt, as I have said if I can help to keep your costs down just ask.

Penelope, that's good news.

Dennis that looks good to me. It's only in the swimming pool here.

let me know next time Wayne! :)

morning folks!

The commended images for the WPOTY are released today, here (external link), can't believe it's been a year since the last one already!

I also took delivery of this (external link) book yesterday, some amazing wildlife images from some great photographers! (and almost half price on Amazon!)

so, anyone taking pics today? the weather looks decent, might see if I can squeeze in a lunchtime stroll and take some snaps!

Great Deer pics Adrian - that second one is a belter!

I can't wait for the Autumn rut to begin, though I fear it's going to be totally bonkers at Richmond Park, it seems to get busier & busier every year! the price of fame I suppose!!

hopefully they'll be some dramatic weather conditions like we had last year, made for some really interesting pics :)

me too - I fear a certain small person might make it tricky to get out for photo taking - unless he comes with me?! - then I suspect he'll scare off the subjects! :D
