Was perusing Facebook and a friend of mine posted this cool YouTube video up. A guy decided to shoot pictures of his little engines transformation to "new".

Here (external link) is the link to the YouTube video. It's pretty sweet. I watched it a couple times. Didn't know if I had anywhere to post it, but here seems most logical.

Interesting video. That looks like a Spitfire motor.

That's pretty cool. How did he get the shots of the parts half way to where they go? You see them on the bench then there is a frame or two of them in mid air with no hands before they are shown in place. A lot of Photoshopping?

I don't know what all he did. I do not know the guy who did the video. I just saw it in a post on facebook.

Most, if not all of the parts which are hanging there would in normal circumstances. They would simply hold by friction to the threads which would "grab" the surrounding material. Also, some of the parts have locations where there are bolts or buts which are not seen in the frame or are under, behind, or otherwise obscured by the part or parts to which they are attached. Or, a hand out of frame holding it. Just ideas. ;)
