Upgrading from the Sigma 17-70 HSM ?

I have a Canon T3i, which I was considering to upgrade to the 7D but both camera's almost seem too similar. I'll just wait for a 7D MKII / 70D.


In the mean time I wanted to upgrade my Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4 HSM
upgraded to this from the Canon 17-85 and overall has been fine but seems a little soft. Looking for something sharper and more crisp.

looking for something with similar focal length like I have now. Any recommendations ?

Canon 15-85mm IS. For what it lacks with the wider aperture it more than makes up for in IQ and focus.
