Hi All,

lurked for many years and old user details lapsed a long time ago so posting again as a new member.

My second shooter at weddings is using a 5D MKII and we are having big issues with the white balance. Her experience and speed of operation negate using manual white balance for her but the corrections required in Lightroom are a real drag and very time consuming after the wedding. it's not just off but inconsistently off meaning WB shift isn't practical.

I've been through settings and so forth and can't see anything that looks out of place so really need help before it makes a trip back to Canon. Anyone have similar issues or WB discrepancies with the 5D II or know of a magic setting she has tinkered with by mistake? Up until a few weeks ago it was working perfectly fine. (WB shift is set to zero).

Thank you for your time and hopefully help!

Chris

Why not shoot raw and then apply a batch colour temperature in post?

thanks Paul, shoot RAW already, it's the inconsistency that means we can't just do that as a batch.
