My apologies for those of you that opened this yesterday to find nothing. I was having some issues figuring out how to save this image for posting w/o EXIF data and w/o screwing up the colors. I think this should work.

Did I miss focus or keep the shutter open too long? I was trying to get a very crisp shot of the stars. 50d, ISO 1600, 10mm (10-22), f4, 30s, mirror lock up & wireless shutter release, luminance and clarity bumped a bit in LR4 and converted to JPG.

Any and all CC is welcomed from capture to processing.

Thanks in advance.

Wow... tough crowd in here. Do I have bad breath? :) Would this be more appropriate in the Critique section?

30 seconds with the shutter open and the stars patent going to be sharp, they move faster than that.

That said....still better than most of my tries. :D

Thanks, Master. I didn't post any of my poor results and I've got a lot of them. This one was particularly unique because I caught not one but two UFOs. :p

A couple of nights ago I shot a very similar scene with the intention of attempting to stack the photos. We'll see how that turns out.
