Ok, not the bay area, but close enough...Eastbound Zephry coming out of the rain at Verdi Nevada crossing the Truckee river. For those familiar, the building at the upper left is the Boomtown casino/hotel.

UP C&NW hertitage unit at the lead thorugh Hercules California, while people are enjoying the bay. I can't believe how clear it was on a summer day. This shot was taken from about 3 miles away.

great detail on those BNSF shots, really like 1 in that group. really like that shot in Nevada and the 1995 one.

Thanks guys, glad y'all enjoyed them. I am always trying to find new ways to shoot trains so they don't all just look the same.

very nice, cool scheme on 1995. Surprised the long shots from the heat we had aren't all wavy, very nice.
