i did it. i got myself a 5d mk2 .
i have been wanting to get full frame for a long time .
and having a 7d already , i now have the best of both worlds.

cant wait to start using this little gem !!!

Haha congratulations! There are, admittedly, some drawbacks compared to the 7D, but you have a 7D so no loss there, I suppose. The image quality truly is something to write home about though--even today.

I went FF a couple years ago and will never go back to a crop body for pro work

I keep my Rebel around as a backup and a tele-shooter when I need more reach, but you can't beat the IQ and DoF of a full-frame sensor.
