Here are a few from Bentsen state park, Lower rio grand valley. Just excellent birding. I am completely alone. Have not seen another birder only a fisherman in 3 days now. Hummm

That's probably the most impressive variety I've seen-one even looked like a cat! lol What is the story w/ the bobcat-used to hand-outs from humans or...? Well done!

LOL, No hand outs allowed... He was after the water. He was just getting a drink. Hot and humid here. I was in a blind.

Another excellent series Gary! You are making me jealous seeing these birds. The Golden-fronted is one of my favorite birds. Also the Kiskadee and Jay is on my must see list. Great shot of the Bobcat too.
I'd say your Thrasher is a Long-billed Thrasher though with the black spots on it's breast. I've got to make it down there to Bentsen someday. Well done
