Thanks everyone. This is from a trip my oldest daughter and I took to the Rockies, with the sole intent to just go into the mountains. We had a blast spending the whole time in the mountains making photos.

Very nice. Love the colors.

Beautiful shot... What I'd give right now to be able to spend a couple hours in a place like that. My brain needs a rest.

That's exactly what it did for us. Just took time to sit and enjoy the beauty.
Nothing better than sitting on a mountain just looking.

Thank you, I hope you truly appreciate what a wonderful and beautiful state you live in. My daughter turned 20 while we were there. As we drove into the mountains for the first time, she had to fight back tears, as she said, "Dad I've never seen anything so beautiful." And she teared up as she told her mom and sister about it when we arrived back home.

Nice capture of Bear Lake!

I was up in that area (again) for some sunset photography at Dream Lake. Mother Nature didn't quite provide was I had originally planned, but what I 'did' get was pretty decent. :)

RMNP is one of many playgrounds for me. :D
