I'm taking a trip in a week and do not have access to a computer. I'll be gone for 15 days. Can anyone recommend a portable storage device that travels well and does not require a computer???

Thanks.

The best and most tried and true is the Sanho ColorSpace HyperDrive UDMA. You can buy it with no HDD in it and put any size laptop/2.5" HDD or SSD in it you want. The battery life is great and since it supports UDMA memory cards it downloads very fast.

Yup, got to agree with all of that. Only one possible problem, Sanho have stopped making the Colorspace UDMA and haven't yet got the follow-up into production. They did have a device ready, the Album, but their screen supplier failed them.

That means that it may be difficult to get a Colorspace. If so, the NextoDI ND2730 (external link) is almost as fast. I own both and would recommend both.

It is my understanding that the Colorspace UDMA2 will be available in a couple of weeks.
