The family and I went out to a park in Hockley, Texas to ride some scale trains. Recently had some heavy rains, so we were a little worried the whole track system would not be operational. It was.

This was my first trip out and I just took my 5d3 and 50L. I have been wanting to see what this 50 could do, so that's all I took. I was pleased with the lens. I have done a little editing to these, but I am by no means an expert at LR. I may go back and do more if I feel like it.

Enjoy...

Nice perspective in the first one.
The thing that get's me about these is that they just look too clean. Years ago, there was a big basement layout in several levels by a guy who was also a commercial artist, & he'd aged everything so that it looked about forty years old. I wish now that I'd taken some shots of it.

Yeah, frank, I get that. There were some rougher ones, but they were in the garage, going on other tracks, or other places I couldn't go. The ones I shot were where I could get. The parks website show they have dozens of people who build, show, and bing them out for the public to enjoy. I may go back one day without the kids to just concentrate on pictures. Patiently waiting for the opportunity doesn't really work with mrs, kids, and mother in law. :)
