I bought this lens used (UY date code), Lens is in excellent condition but the hood is not taken care of and has scratches and inside valvet is in bad shape as well. I was thinking to buy a new one so the lens looks new even with the hood on.....but $50 for a hood seems quite expensive.....presently I am happy with what I have but will like to update with a cheaper option if available.
