I wanted to know how can I find out how many shutter clicks doesn't my canon 7d have. And also what's happened when my camera reaches its limit? Does it slow down?
Thanks
Steve

Upload a RAW photo to http://myshuttercount.com/ (external link) and it'll tell you the count. And there's really no "limit" on a camera, there's just an expected shutter life. It could die way before the expected count or after.

EOSCount (external link) is the most reliable way to measure on the 7D.

When the shutter wears out it will break or malfunction and there will likely be diagonal black bars in your pictures at high shutter speeds. It won't slow down, it will just fail. If it does fail, Canon can replace it for you.

Shutter failure could happen tomorrow for you or in many years. Shutter life estimates are only an average, not a guarantee, and there are always outliers.

Doesn't work. You will get the following message:

Oops, we do not support Canon and Sony cameras.
