1.4x mkIII + 300 f/2.8mkII= AWESOME

I just got the 1.4x Thursday and I got to try it out for the first time yesterday during a football game. Here are some shots of the pairing. The camera that I was using was the mkIV.

I love the paring. I was worried about the lens becoming an f/4 but I love it!

Those look horrible the background is out of focus. :). Looks like a great combo. How do you like the weight difference? Is it noticeable? Have you tried it with a 2x yet?

I could not tell any difference with the weight. The only difference was the slight extension of my arm since the tele added a few inches. I do not own a 2x. That might be my next buy. That or a tilt-shift lol
