Holiday greetings all!

I was looking through another thread and noticed the mention of a pulication titled, "EOS Magazine".

Being new to the world of Canon, coming over from the film world, I would appreciate hearing from those folks who are subscribers. What do you like/dislike about the magazine, can folks of all levels of experience find it useful, do you feel it is worth the subscription fee, etc. ?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Ron

Welcome Norcal, hope you enjoy POTN.
I've never seen one in the camera shops. May just be for these in the PROgram. Anyway, POTN is my only EOS subscription nowadays.

It's available in the UK, and subscriptions are available worldwide. Here's a link....

I've been a subscriber for a while now and I love it. It is printed on the highest quality paper and covers a myriad of topics. I highly recommend it.

It's expensive, but it's by far my favorite photoraphy mag. The best part is that it is dedicated to Canon EOS cameras, both film and digital.

I found out about it when in the UK a long time ago. Never available in a shop here in the US, but I order it on-line yearly and it comes about 4 times a year, sometimes 3. It's a high quality magazine with news of products and articles just for EOS users. The terminology is all the UK (models), but you can get the conversion table yearly from the magazine. It is worth the money just to see the pictures, they are outstanding. Two issues ago there was a little article about portable flash diffusers, which I saw once and couldn't figure out what the use was, so I ordered one and it's been in my camera bag since, I use it a lot. The magazine offers products sometimes. Mostly, it's to display new products and share information.

It is free to UK CPS members and is of the best publications for Canon EOS owners. It is of very high quality and content, probably because it is published quarterly and they are not looking to fill it up with junk like a lot of other magazines.
