Hello,

Is my use of HDR techniques to strong here? I was kind of looking for a little edgier type of finished image. The sun had been down 10-15 minutes when this set was taken.

Looks great, and I'm not a fan of overdone HDR. And this one is definitely not that.

I don't think it's too much at all. Looks dramatic but it doesn't scream "HDR".

The only problem I have is that the lighter area around the large cloud looks like an overdone HDR effect. It may not be, but it still detracts for me. Other than that, it's a nice shot.

I like it. I would call it moderate strength.

Thanks all, I've been working on trying to tone down my HDR work. The one area up around the clouds that looks like haloing you get from HDR normally is actually how the sky was showing up at the time. I'm ok with that area in this photo, but did notice it as well and may tone it down manually so that it's not so bright. Anyway, thanks again for the comments and CC.

I don't think it's too strong. I probably wouldn't have noticed if you didn't mention it.

Looks great. This is the style of HDR I tend to like.
