Hi all...

Well off to Namibia for work for a couple of months and wondering if anyone who has been there or similar conditions found it good to use a polariser or gnd's?
Using a 24-105....
Plus I will have a few of the weekends off, easy enough to shoot off for quick side trips?

I wouldn't be without a polarizer.

I agree with Rick. I didn't use mine all that much when I was in Namibia, but was glad to have them at times. As was said, I always have my CP and gnd with me.

Cheers, Steve

If you can get to Walvis Bay I can highly recommend one of their wildlife-watching cruises. Especially the champagne and oyster breakfast cruise. I really wasn't expecting much at all, but after a morning with Peilicans, Cormorants, Seals and Dolphins we sat down to a huge table groaning under the weight of oysters - raw and cooked in several styles - and a seemingly unlimited supply of rather good sparkling wine. That could explain the blurriness of the photos taken the rest of that day.

Take your land mine detector with too! Its an awesome place, you will get some fantastic photo opportunities. I was there in the early 80's. Have fun.
