I took a trip from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, all the way to Columbus Ohio. (Visiting my future college). I stopped at the smokey mountains for a bit before it started pouring. I tried to get some landscapes, however I don't have the best vision for them yet... I have taken a few, but honestly the only thing in Florida worth landscaping has been the beach for me...

C&C appreciated!

This was a waterfall image, not the best, but keep in mind it was my first. The reason behind me transforming it to black and white was to bring the water out, however I will admit the color of the stones in color held a soft spot for me...

I used my favorite lens, the 85mm, on this one.

Here is the smokey mountains...Didn't get to experiment as much as I'd like to because it started pouring within minutes of me beginning to shoot.. This was transformed to black and white because in my opinon, the dynamic range was really low, so the transformation brought out the mountains even more.

I used my Sigma 70-200 on this one.

Bamboo Forest (external link) by Brandon Claflin (external link), on Flickr

Here was a bamboo forest, as you can tell I used a flash to try and lighten up the bottom half. I was strucken by the colors in person as they were beautiful...It looked better on my camera when I snapped the image, however on the computer, I could tell that the colors were not what I actually saw. May I should've experimented and done HDR?

Used my 18-55 on this one.

All these were shot in RAW...and I don't mess with the colors much, if even at all, I try to make the photo look as natural as possible in PP.

Anywho I Would like some tips on what I should do in the future, and what I shouldn't do, and pointers would help :)!

THANKS
