Looking for a good, long-term online storage solution. Does such a thing exist?

I think if you want reliable you will need to do it yourself. No one cares about your data more than you.

That. Take a look at Chase Jarvis and his workflow (external link). Now his are on a much larger scale, but it gives you an idea on just how much is needed to really make sure your stuff is safe.

Take a look at DPHOTO. They just upgraded the Pro plan to allow 100MB files size & RAW images.

Wow. Now that was cool. That guy gets the value of data. :)

One thing you might consider is a safe deposit box at a bank. There are a few things you need to worry about when planning for the unthinkable. The best case scenario is your hard drive fries. This can be fixed by having multiple redundant hard drives. However, these are in one location so if the next scenario happens (fire, flood, hurricane etc.) you can still lose everything so you need off site storage. Some online services you mentioned are good choices and will do just fine. However, if you already have a safe deposit box (pretty damn secure in a bank vault) you can just get a terabyte hard drive and back up once a month and put it back in the safe. I would recommend a combo of all 3 but that could be over kill.

NAS with FTP sync abilities sitting at parents place. I think that's my goal... I have a fairly good setup as is, with the exception of co-location.
