So I have recently made the jump from Win7 to Mac OSX, migrated LR4 and all my work and pleased with the increase speed and processing ability.
I used to use Microsoft's own panoramic stitching tool - Microsoft ICE (Image Composition Editor).... I am currently using DoubleTake on Mac... but am yet to find an alternative that matches the ease of use and ability of ICE.
For example, this weekend I took a 2 x 3 composition and tried to stitch them in DoubleTake, the software didn’t have a clue where to put the images, very very poor result and ended up with a 1 x 6 stitched image. Frustrated, I copied the originals into ICE and straight away a beautifully stitched image was made, no problems at all.
Come on all you Mac users out there, give me an alternative and restore my faith in Mac software!
