I'd want to do that and not tell them about any recording. Then, see what really happens back there with my 4 kids while I'm trying to pay attention to the road! Maybe they'd have more well behaved in the car days after they saw how their fights looked on video! LOL :p

Dude, excellent job on the timelapse...one of the cooler ones I've seen...(POV on the hood w/ tunnels and lit trees were awesome )

I think it's pretty cool. I can't honestly say that every picture or video i have ever taken had some sharply defined purpose. It's not a bad idea to simply try something to help refine and practice technique. I'm sure if he ever has a project that needs a similar technique, he will learn from this and apply it even better than he did here.

Agreed. Experience in a skill never hurts. :) I still secretly want to capture my kids...
