Visited this very spot a number of years ago with my dad! the shots I took at the time certainly don't hold a candle to this! Spent time at West Kilbride close by, where he was evacuated as a kid in the war. Thanks for this - nice quick trip down memory lane!

Thanks ken, it's the first time I have been there even though I'm only about 40mins drive away but I'll definitely be revisiting. This was supposed to be a 3 shot vertical pano but I nudged the camera between the middle and top shots then forgot to take the lower shot so what you see above is a cropped 2 shot vertical pano :)

Turned out great Eddie, the most interesting place 40 minutes from my house is a Walmart ; ) I envy you haha.

Here's one from a few months back. This will be my last upload for a bit. Hit the road again next week. Think the highlight of this trip is going to be Oregon. Always wanted to go there. Probably won't want to leave ; ) Take care guys

Headed to the beach today for a fast trial with my new to me Mkii - fast, because it was several degrees below freezing and windy. The geese didn't seem to mind, although they were definitely flying in a southern direction...

Putting it to good work already ken. Don't let anyone else see pic 2 as apparently the 5D2 AF sucks ;)
