Thanks Eddie, went out just to shoot a few frames to see how a couple of my lenses worked on it. I kept telling myself not to simply try and compare my 7D to my new Mkii, but I have to admit, for a "quick draw" pull the camera up, back focus and fire - I was pleasantly surprised how well that turned out!

I thought it works amazingly well on back button focus, a real joy to use it that way, always had plenty of keepers.

Yeah it was a wedding photog mate of mine that got me on to using the back button, wish I had discovered it at the start! I've never had an issue with the 5D2s AF but then again I don't really shoot sports or anything that moves too quickly

I shot a car rally a while back with the 5dII and a 135L It worked amazingly well and i never once had an issue keeping up.
