Hey, I'm back and trying again. I shot this as a RAW file and played just a little with it. I don't know how to work the Canon software yet. Anyways, my latest try....

IMAGE NOT FOUND

Can anyone help me positively identify the birds shown above? I think they are swallows, but they don't look like barn swallows. Their nest was made out of mud and was up on the eave of the front porch. the adults had also found horse hair to use in the construction of their nest. These birds are located in the eastern part of the state of Texas.

I can see now that I am going to need to get a Birds of Texas book to keep either with me or next to the computer.

They look like Swallows Leisa, with a shot like this, it would be better to zoom out, so you can see the whole nest & the middle birds tail, have a look at this site for bird ID's - http://identify.whatbi​rd.com/mwg/_/0/attrs.a​spx (external link)

Nice shot Leisa, These are young Barn Swallows. They look like they're about ready to leave the nest.
